Siegel 1 above was not listed on eNOTICE for this period, but the listing is being repeated to give the link to the full permit, which was not available at the time of the previous listing. We are starting to see a pattern where the Chevron well pads in Luzerne Twp are started with a permit for vertical Marcellus well before any of the permits for horizontal wells. One assumes "TVD" stands for Total Vertical Depth. The Siegel permit does not show a "vertical plan" as do permits for horizontal wells. It will be interesting to see what the plats for horizontal wells on this pad look like.

DEP defines an environmental justice area as "any census tract where 20 percent or more individuals live in poverty, and/or 30 percent or more of the population is minority". (See:

Where I am publishing latitude and longitude with E&S permits it is by inferring an associated well permit and using published latitude and longitude for the well.
