The eNOTICE E-mail for the COCHRAN M-1 TO PRITTS PIPELINE ESCGP-EXPEDITED notes "Authorization # 963113 has been overdue as of 2/14/2013." The site record link in the eFACTS authorization record produces "No records matched" -- the site record exists (site ID 737443) but is shown as "Inactive".

For some reason the eFACTS record for the Sanfilippo Unit 5H well above does not show an eMapPa link. Latitude and Longitude *are* available on the DEP "Permits Issued Detail" report:

Having no eMapPa link is getting way too common on recent permits.

The site record linked by DEP for the Howe wells appears to be the wrong site record. There *are* wells at that site named Hoehn. I suspect the "Hoehn" site showing for the Howe wells is a data entry error at DEP.

There is no eMapPa link for LESTER UNIT 9H. The location shown above is for Lester 8H. This may be incorrect as a location for Lester 9H.

I have no idea why some eFACTS records for wells show two subfacilities when most show only one.

The Texas Eastern TEAM 2014 Project is a federally regulated interstate transmission line project, under FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission). Approval automatically confers a certificate of public convenience, which means Texas Eastern will have the power of eminent domain. Unlike the Peregrine case, which was before the Public Utility Commission, where certificates of public convenience for gathering lines are not established, under FERC there is no question about whether interstate transmission lines should be given eminent domain -- that is settled. This kind of application tends to be approved. Now that this project has changed its status from pre-filing to filing, I believe it's correct that there is a limited time window to file motions to intervene. This project was first listed in this bulletin on Sunday, August 12, 2012. I don't believe there's been *any* mention of it in the local press. Here is the map for this project:

The well PRITTS UNIT 1 OG WELL seems to be an example of a vertical Marcellus well which failed completely. The well details report for this well has rows in the production report going back to 2009 showing the well *never* went into production. Atlas has evidently thrown in the towel on this well.

Marcellus Shale waste disposal injection wells in Pennsylvania are regulated directly by EPA, not DEP. Notice of any new permit applications will appear at the above web address.  I'm not aware of any subscription service to be notified of such applications. I'm not aware of any Marcellus Shale waste disposal injection wells in Fayette County (yet ...) but we need to monitor this page for future applications.

Where I am publishing latitude and longitude with E&S permits it is by inferring an associated well permit and using published latitude and longitude for the well. It is possible I may be inferring the wrong well site.

Municipalities are shown from eFACTS records on the DEP web site. The DEP has been known to list a municipality incorrectly.
