Notes:
As most readers are probably aware, Springhill #2 is the compressor
station located next to the Carr family. Authorization ID 894174 above
is presumably for more compressor engines at this facility. Given the
amount of attention to this facility in Fayette County already, I would
anticipate this permit to be the highest profile permit that has
appeared in this list. As if this location were not already burdened
enough, the wells Chico Unit 1,2,3H are located extremely close by.
Blasting permits for Wampum Hardware Co. are apparently for seismic testing.
The site permit for Kurutz 10H, 11H, and 12H (Authorization ID 883797)
is noted for the follwing sub-task: Send Deficiency Notice/Receive
Response on 9/20/2011. This location was involved in a serious
violation, as noted in a previous E-mail. Perhaps cleanup from this
violation has "issues".
We need to pay close attention to permits of type Alt Waste Mgmt
Practice Land Application on Well Site. We are seeing such permits
following upon violations for spills.
eNOTICE records are likely to list the same permit multiple times, as that permit moves through the DEP process.
Oil & Gas Wells designated with a site a number and the letter H typically designate horizontal wells.
