who are parties to the case: myself, Marigrace Butela, Evelyn Hovanec,
and Veronica Coptis. Citizens who want to testify at one of the public
input hearings may attend *either* the Fayette County hearing or the
Greene County hearing.
The Ronco Waste Treatment Plant is one of the few facilities in this
area authorized to accept frack water. A Water Quality Management Permit
issued to this site on 8/28/09 is the subject of an appeal before the
Environmental Hearing Board brought by Clean Water Action. Information

Authorization ID 873272 for the Shamrock Compressor Station includes 3
new engines that weren't covered by the existing permit. It is not clear
why engines 4-6, which were included in the prior permit, are included
in this one. The DEP continues to list the Shamrock Compressor Station
incorrectly as Menallen Twp. The correct municipality is German Twp.
This was acknowledged by the DEP in its response to a public comment by
the applicant, Laurel Mountain Midstream, but the correction still
hasn't been made in the eFACTS database.
Authorization ID 894174, Springhill #2 Compressor Station, is marked
"Off the clock" and "Start Date" 10/4/11 under Send Deficiency
Notice/Receive Response, but the box for this is not checked. It appears
as though the application has been sent back to Laurel Mountain
Midstream with a deficiency, but I'm not certain of this.
We need to pay close attention to permits of type Alt Waste Mgmt
Practice Land Application on Well Site. We are seeing such permits
following upon violations for spills.
eNOTICE records are likely to list the same permit multiple times, as that permit moves through the DEP process.
Oil & Gas Wells designated with a site a number and the letter H typically designate horizontal wells.
The eMapPa web site does not work in web browsers other than Internet
