Notes:
I am not getting the eMapPa web site to work today; location information
in this E-mail was copied and pasted from previous editions and I may
have made errors doing this.
The site for DONEGAL S PIPELINE PROJ, permit # PAG106145 shows in eFACTS
as Donegal Twp, Westmoreland County, but the PA Bulletin has this
permit listed for Fayette County.
The notice in the PA Bulletin for Shamrock Compressor Station suggests
the application is for a *second turbine*. Authorization ID 902871 for
this permit, <
http://www.ahs2.dep.state.pa.us/eFACTSWeb/searchResults_singleAuth.aspx?AuthID=902871>,
shows as "Major Facility Plan Approval New Facility Review Prevention
of Significant Deterioration". If I understand this correctly this will
put this facility under EPA Major Source rules. The appeal of permit
26-00588 before the Environmental Hearing Board (Case # 2011065) was
aimed at *getting* the facility classified as a Major Source.
I have no idea what accounts for the truly extraordinary number of
permits of type "Alt Waste Mgmt Practice Land Application on Well Site"
with Received date 11/18/11. There seems to be "a story" here.
eNOTICE records are likely to list the same permit multiple times, as that permit moves through the DEP process.
Oil & Gas Wells designated with a site a number and the letter H typically designate horizontal wells.
The eMapPa web site does not work in web browsers other than Internet
Explorer. For instructions on how to view eMapPa data in Firefox send me
E-mail.
